Self-Compassion Workshop
Join Karen J. Helfrich, LCSW-C for this 90-minute space for cultivating inner kindness and support for yourself.
We live in a culture frought with judgment, criticism, perfectionism, and impatience. We forget our own and other’s humaness. There can be little room for mistakes.
Yet, it is our humanness, our mistakes, our imperfections that bind us to each other. What if, instead of rejecting our humanness, we recognized it with a tender heart?
What might be possible if we crafted inner worlds of safety and affirmation?
Would we feel more resilient? More confident? Less apologetic?
In this workshop, we will learn the three components of self-compassion, practice connecting with the body’s “felt-sense,” and discover the various ways we can practice being kinder toward ourselves when we need it most.
Whether you are new to self-compassion or looking to support your practice, you are welcome in this space!
