Fee Schedule

Individual Psychotherapy

55-Minute Sessions
$195/Session
  • Holistic psychotherapy integrating Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (including Internal Family Systems), EMDR, Self-Compassion, and Safe and Sound Protocol.
  • Sessions may be attended online via video chat, or in-person for clients local to Catonsville, MD.
  • The Avalon Center for Integrative Therapies is not in-network with insurances, but we accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA funds for payment. Clients with insurance plans that include benefits for out-of-network services may be able to receive some reimbursement for services. 

Individual Psychotherapy

90-Minute Sessions
$300/Session
  • 90-Minute psychotherapy sessions enable you to have a more spacious session to more deeply and thoroughly process feelings and concerns that come up in session. 90-minute sessions are especially appropriate for clients seeking and EMDR-focused experience.
  • 90-minute sessions allow clients who want to attend therapy less frequently due to scheduling limitations or financial limitations to still have a meaningful therapeutic experience.
  • Client attending therapy less frequently than weekly are required to schedule 90-minute sessions as we’ve found that shorter sessions are often less effective when attended less than once per week.

Somatic EMDR Psychotherapy Intensive

4-Hour Intensive
$1,450
  • Accelerate your healing journey with psychotherapy intensives.
  • Psychotherapy intensives are a great option for those who want to make progress quickly, or who have busy schedules that do not permit taking the time for weekly sessions.
  • Fee includes pre-and post-intensive meetings with your therapist, plus the 4-hour intensive.
  • Intensives are not a good option for those experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings. Intensives are also not appropriate for those in active addiction with alcohol or other substances. 
  • Intensives can be attended in-person (for those local to Catonsville, MD) or online by video chat.
  • Intensives cannot be refunded. A 15% cancelation fee is required for all intensives canceled within 7 days of the scheduled intensive.

Somatic EMDR Psychotherapy Intensive

6-Hour Intensive
$2,500
  • W eeks or even months of psychotherapy in one or two days with psychotherapy intensives.
  • A targeted deep dive with a highly skilled therapist can help you achieve real progress in a short time.
  • A great option for those with limited time, a 6-hour intensive can help you work through a specific issue and get on with life.
  • Intensives can be a one-time experience, or a way of doing ongoing therapy without the limitations of weekly 55-minute sessions.
  • Fee includes pre- and post- intensive meetings with your therapist, plus the 6-hour intensive.
  • Intensives are not a good option for those experiencing suicidal thoughts and feelings. Intensives are also not appropriate for those in active addiction with alcohol or other substances.
  • Intensives cannot be refunded. A 15% cancelation fee is required for all intensives canceled within 7 days of the scheduled intensive.

What are my rights under the No Surprises Act?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your healthcare will cost. Under federal law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or take a picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
